Mrs. Freshleys, not your normal snack!!!

I don't know about you, but I am a sucker for snack cakes, and it doesn't matter what kind they are, I love them all.  Mrs. Freshley's is one of my favorites, they are less expensive than other brands and I think they taste better.  But did you know that you can make the cutest treats from their snacks?

I was recently chosen to host a #Disneyside Celebration, and I am going to have a #Disneyside Valentines Day party, and need some cute snack ideas for the party, and Mrs. Freshley's has the perfect ideas for any party!!! For example, did you know you can make snowman from their powdered donuts?  (This would be perfect for a Frozen theme party!)

Now I had a problem finding some of the ingredients, but I improvised.  You will need, small candy canes (on clearance at most stores now), mini M&M (I looked everywhere and couldn't find them, so I just cut a regular M&M in fourths), Candy Corn (also couldn't find, so I used Orange Tic Tacs), Licorice (I used the Pull & Peel), vanilla frosting and a package of Mrs. Freshley's powdered donuts.

Stack 3 of the donuts on top of each other (I used a little frosting to make sure they stayed together), then stack the fourth on top.

Then stick the nose (candy corn or tic tac into the hole, again I used frosting to secure), then add mini chocolate chips or mini M&M for eyes & mouth, use mini M&M for the buttons, and stick candy canes in the side for arms, and wrap the licorice around for scarf, and you have a cute little Olaf snack!!!!! My son loved it!!!!

But that is not all!!!! You can also make some Chocolate Donut Sticks.

These are sooooo easy to make, just 3 ingredients, Donut Sticks, Almond Bark & Sprinkles.  You melt the almond bark according to package directions, I microwave for 30 seconds at a time until it is completely melted.

Then you dip the donut stick in so you cover half of it with chocolate.

Then cover with seasonal sprinkles, or use red hots to make it look like Mickey's pants :)  These are great for any holiday, or just an everyday treat.  So Yummy!!!!!

But it doesn't end there!! I have another great recipe for you try with Honey Buns. Who doesn't love Strawberry Shortcake, I know it is one of my family's favorites.  And you can make it with Mrs. Freshley's Honey Buns.

Now the recipe calls for 1 pint strawberries and one pint raspberries, but my family does not like raspberries, so I used 2 pints of Strawberries.  You just cut up your strawberries, and cover them in 3/4 cup of sugar and add 3 tsp of Vanilla and coat the berries.

Then you cut up the Honey Buns into bite size pieces. Now the fun part!!! You can do this as individual servings in small bowls or clear cups, or you can do it like me and use a large bowl.  You put down the cut up honey bun, cover with berry mixture, cover with whip cream and repeat.

So when you are done, you have a very delicious and much cheaper version of strawberry shortcake!!!

I had friends over for dinner last night, and this was the dessert I served, and everyone LOVED IT!!!! They couldn't believe I made it with Honey Buns :)

So what kind of recipes are you going to try out with your Mrs. Freshley's snack cakes?  Make sure to check out the recipe's on the Mrs. Freshley's website.  Let me know in the comments below!
